Beyond the ordinary

At HJP Recovery House, we hold the belief that every individual is entitled to a secure environment for healing, rebuilding, and flourishing. We offer supportive recovery housing and empathetic services for those facing homelessness, challenges related to substance use, or significant life transitions. Our residences serve as more than mere shelter — they function as communities founded on respect, accountability, and hope. We accompany each resident on their journey, providing access to recovery resources, training in life skills, and connections to employment and educational opportunities.

With a dedication to dignity and empowerment, we aim to disrupt the cycle of homelessness and assist each individual in crafting a future characterized by stability, purpose, and a sense of belonging.

Personal Story

Tamara Pierre younger brother, Hanersley Jean-Pierre, faced a long battle with addiction and mental health issues, a struggle that sadly ended with his suicide at the age of 23. She kindly shared his story to highlight that behind every individual we encounter on the street who is affected by addiction, there are frequently family members and friends who are left to mourn their gradual and painful journey into isolation.
